Those that know me know that I curse like a truck driver (something that I need to work on). I don’t mind when people curse much less when I hear it in songs. Therefore people making a fuss of Beyonce’s singing “b*#tches” in her new song “Bow Down/ I Been On” doesn’t phase me at all. What does get me a bit p*ssed off is the song in general. I thought by the title it was going to be a sexy and empowering song geared towards men on how we “run the world,” but it wasn’t. The only good thing about this song is the beat. Don’t believe me? When it comes to Beyonce I’ve always been 50/50. Amazing voice? Of course! Her music? Gets very played out after 5 plays. As a person? Don’t know her just the persona she portrays in the media and who knows if that’s even her.

The persona she portrays is exactly why many people are also upset with her song. When has anyone ever heard Beyonce curse? Don’t think ever. She has always lived a life of a beauty queen so it’s very out of character to now want to portray someone else. I mean come on you’re not Rihanna!

Little birdies all around the media outlets have stated Beyonce’s album is no longer going to be released in a few weeks instead it’s going to be pushed back until fall. Yikes.
