Maybelline Vs Loreal

I know I can’t be the only one who goes through lip glosses and lipsticks to find the right color and the one that will stay put on their lips. As soon as I see those lipstick commercials “6 hour stay, 10 hour stay, 14 hour stay…” I want to buy them! So I did!

First up is Loreal’s “Infallible” (bloom color) which promotes that it will stay on for 6 hours. Well that’s just a bloody lie. It will only last as long as you don’t talk, lick your lips, eat or drink. Okay, that was an exaggeration, but since it’s lip gloss, GLOSS usually doesn’t stick for long. It’s good for a nice shine and if you must keep that shine just keep reapplying over and over again.

The picture above is from Maybelline’s collection, “Super Stay 14hr Lipstick” (Pout On Pink). Since it is a lipSTICK it does stick to your lips a lot longer. However, don’t dare press your lips together because your lips are no longer smooth enough to do that once you apply it on. I put it on an ate my cinnamon toast crunch breakfast to test it out. The only thing is that on the inside of your lips will start to crack and the color eventually comes off. Since I got a somewhat neutral color for my skin color you can’t really tell if the color is fading. It’s not too bad as long as it’s not a bright color where you can see the color disappear.

Last, but not least is again Maybelline, but this time with “Super Stay 10hr Stain Gloss.” With out a doubt this one definitely works. The color stays on even if you don’t like the color haha. Although a lip gloss it sure does stay!
