Yesterday I spoke to you regarding how my busy week of the blogging/vlogging life started; with the Getting Gorgeous event. The next two days after that I was going to attend Blogger Bash which caused me great anxiety when it was time for bed. Why you ask? I’ve never gone to this big of a conference before and I had no idea what to expect. It was like the first day of school all over again; what do I wear, what do I say, who will I see? Thankfully, I had much help from my blogger pal Danielle of Dellah’s Jubilation who played as my mentor and took me under her wings– it definitely relieved a lot of my stress.
For those who don’t know what Blogger Bash is it serves as networking opportunities between bloggers/vloggers (ahem) and big-name brands from baby, fashion, toys, food, travel, and more! We got our hands on some of the hottest new toys out in the market now or soon coming to a store near you. Blogger Bash had events following up to their big days, panels, speed dating with certain brands (one-on-ones), unbelievable sponsors, awesome breakfasts with Care Bears and Disney Infinity, and yummy lunches and dinners! I couldn’t have asked for a better event, I was truly in awe at how put together it all was, not that I was expecting anything less. Oh, and it all took place at Chelsea Piers in NYC!
I almost forgot to mention that the Blogger Bash team set up attendees to attend a free show of the Blue Man Group!
. You’re probably thinking “okay, what’s the big deal of watching men drum paint all over the place?” Because that’s exactly what I thought it was! Boy, was I wrong! It was the most amazing time I’ve had ever and has very little to do with blue men just drumming paint all over the place. Next week I’ll be having a giveaway for some tickets to attend the Blue Man group for yourself so keep an eye out!
I’ll just name a few brands so you can see how big of a deal Blogger Bash was and why you should attend next year;
Leap Frog, Vtech, Fisher Price, Hasbro, Nickelodeon, Razor, Build A Bear, Goldie Blox, Madame Alexander, Moff, Green Toys, School Zone, The Moodsters, so on and so on…
The night ended with a circus! Yes, you all know we love the circus, so that was tons of fun– playing old carnival games, some type of burlesque performance, man juggling plates all at once, a woman hanging from a chandelier pouring champagne, you just had to be there!
