I love my heels and you can catch me on any day whether I’m out alone or on mommy duty; my heels become a part of my outfit. Of course, there are those occasional days where you want to just chill and lay back. I absolutely love the Cali fashion from what I’ve seen in magazines and/or celebrities wear and have grown quite fond of the style. Their style can make anyone look effortlessly chic!
See how I incorporated myself into this ‘Cali Cool’ look using my boyfreind’s flannel–
I see flannels are essential to a Cali girl’s wardrobe and for good reason- cute, inexpensive and versatile. So are converses– they are the only sneakers I own besides my workout sneakers. I absolutely hate sneakers and always give them a cold-shoulder when my boyfriends tries to buy them for me, but not with my converses. It was love at first step!
I took my boyfriends awesome flannel and buttoned just the top button, then folded the collar down to the shoulders of the flannel so it wouldn’t look big.
I took a plain white tee and my shorts with leopard pockets to give it another fashionable pop. Mixing patterns can usually always make you look great!
I had to add a little of me to the ‘Cali Cool’ style and added a statement necklace along with a pop of color for my lips (Covergirl LipPerfection “Hot Flame”).
What do you think? My Californians– how did I do?

Tshirt jeans and then crazy patterned shoes and fun Jewelery or accessories!
