If you’re a 90’s kid, I’m sure you’re feeling super nostalgic about the Toy Story franchise continuing their films into 2019. Ziana Eliz and Gunner are even growing up on all our favorite Disney films!
However, although many loved the other films, some do believe that Toy Story 4 is unnecessary. Yeah, I can’t believe they think that too! But, I did wonder what storyline they came up with this time around now since Andy is all grown up. I guess many folks forgot about his baby sister, Bonnie!
And that’s where we pick up. Of course, Bonnie in reality should probably be in her 30’s, but animation anything is possible! So here is as synopsis from my folks over at Disney which gives you the setting and plot-
Toy Story 4 Plot
Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.
Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”), and produced by Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”) and Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”), Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.
Also, the last trailer was also realized and I want you to take a look below–
Last and Final Toy Story Trailer
What did you take from the trailer? The one thing that stood out to me was that Bo Peep is representing herself to be a major character in this film. Bo is showing how strong she is and independent when it comes to calling the shots and doing daring stunts! This has been something Disney has been doing more of in films such as Wreck it Ralph and the new Aladdin film.
Remember June 22 is THE DAY!! Pencil this in– or type this in to your calendar and I’ll see you then!
