Farmhouse Christmas Tree Ideas
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree! We found our tree, chopped it down and then finally decorated it. For about 4 years we kept with the same theme; colorful balls, every and any ornaments that were given to use and those green tree stands. Nothing special about it, but this year I wanted to put actual effort into it.
I decided on, of course, a country farm house type of feel for the Christmas holidays. No more ugly green tree stand, I would’ve gone with something like a Hearth and Hand tree skirt since I’m mad for plaid, but instead you know me and galvanized items– so I got a 11 Gallon Galvanized Tub that would have the ugly green tree stand in the tub.
No more colorful ornaments, my house isn’t a skittle house so I opted for some red accents of balls and vintage feel ornaments, which luckily we had. To make it stand out a bit more I purchased some fun wooden signs to hang on the tree to give the farmhouse aesthetic going.
