Kmart Fashion

I’ve never shopped at Kmart for myself before, because if you’re like me when you think of Kmart you think of cheap and ugly clothing– I’m guilty!

Last month I went down to Pennsylvania for my boyfriend’s high-school reunion and had shorts and short sleeve shirt I was going to wear, never having looked at the weather before leaving New York to know that it was going to be a cold weekend. I hadn’t packed jeans or sweatshirt to wear so I had to go on a hunt for something a bit more weather appropriate. There was no Target, Forever 21, H&M or Macy’s so I had to do with what was there and that was Kmart.

As I actually looked around this time there were hidden pieces of clothing in many places! It was crazy that I found good quality, cute and affordable clothing at the one place I never thought to look at. Now, don’t get me wrong not everything was beautiful (to my eyes), but there were a bunch of items I would have loved to purchase, but stuck to one item I needed (jeans or pullover) plus two items I just had to buy– guilty again!

Adam Levine Women’s Tie Front Crop Top – Floral I purchased the blue crop top instead of the red because I thought blue on blue jeans (light or dark) would look great! With my red pumps I felt like a pin-up girl–

Bongo Jeans
Acid wash jeans are just fabulous and since I don’t have black ones and black jeans would go great with my top I had already bought from home this was a great addition to my wardrobe! The red shoes gave it a pop of color that will complete the whole look and not look generic.

Attention Women’s Ruched Waist Blouse.
The blouse came in both blue and red and the red instantly grabbed my attention. The top has a surplice neckline with a single button closure and cap sleeves. The ruched waist gives you the right kind of curves you crave. It can be worn for work like I have shown below or thrown on with a pair of jeans for a casual look.
