Kids in Sports

I’m not at all close to being an athlete; I don’t play sports, I hate to run or move which then causes sweat, it’s just something not meant for me. Now how did I land a lad who absolutely loves everything I can’t stand? I still have no idea. My boyfriend has enjoyed running within the past few months and has helped with a bit with his back issues, so…

My Best Friends

My daughter is only three and she’s my best friend! Shocking? Cute? Dumb? Many will have an opinion on this because why wouldn’t they? What’s life without difference in opinions? It might be a bit strange that I consider my three-year-old my best friend, but after careful consideration– she’s my only bestie! I gave birth to my best friend and I couldn’t be happier. As a young kid I always…

$12 million dollars later and Battery Park now has a really amazing fish carousel for us to ride! This state-of-the-art carousel features dolphins, angelfish and other sea life darting in several directions on four rotating tracks. What does five young black rappers from Compton, CA have to do with a mommy blogger like myself? How about the struggles and fears that they faced reappearing becoming a reality for another generation, especially the one(s) I am raising. Wedding Bliss (Photos and OOTD)

I love weddings! They’re so much fun to attend; the eating, drinking, mingling and dancing. I always cry at weddings it’s slightly embarrassing so this past Thursday when I attended a childhood friend’s wedding I literally said to myself, ” I hate Jenny!” It kind of worked haha. Jenny’s wedding was beautiful and classy. After having a kid 6 months earlier she lost all her baby weight! I ended up…

Blogger Bash Event for Bloggers

Yesterday I spoke to you regarding how my busy week of the blogging/vlogging life started; with the Getting Gorgeous event. The next two days after that I was going to attend Blogger Bash which caused me great anxiety when it was time for bed. Why you ask? I’ve never gone to this big of a conference before and I had no idea what to expect. It was like the first…

Journey Girls

Last week both Ziana and I were invited to a fun event by Toy R Us to join them in celebrating the 5th anniversary of its exclusive award-winning Journey Girls brand with an updated collection of on-trend fashions tailored to an all-new Italian adventure. The setting for the event was gorgeous; lights on the ceiling, foods catered around the Italian culture. One of the funnest events attended by far this…

Walt Disney World Wednesday (Magic Kingdom AGAIN)

Day 04 & 06 At Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Walt Disney…I think despite everything Walt had imagined, hoped and ambitiously conceptualized, I don’t think he would have imagined how iconic one (1) single theme park could have become. The opening of every Disney movie- [the castle at] Magic Kingdom. Through every tour, we were told that Epcot was Walt’s baby. Magic Kingdom comes with a higher factor for branding.…
