We are all pretty much obsessed with diets and ways to slim our waistlines. You may even be one of those people who try every new product that helps promote appetite suppression or says it will burn those stingy fat rolls off. Well, I was given the opportunity to do a review on Zhena’s Slim Me Tea.. Of course, I reviewed the product in both written and visual form for you all 😉
The company sent over four flavors; Raspberry Mint, Cranberry Ginger, Peach Vanilla and Mixed Berry. Zhena’s sells each container (which includes 30 tea bags) for a nice $10. It’s really inexpensive for all the tea bags you’re going to get and the results you may– or may not get.
Slim Me Tea claims to support weight loss from several different angles:
– Helps with appetite suppression
– Promotes fat burning
– Helps reduce water retention
– Helps with digestion and elimination
– Promotes increased energy
– Helps with liver cleansing
For best results they also state to have 3 cups a day (hot or cold) before each healthy diet meal followed by an exercise plan. Basically, just drinking this tea may not do much for you. With every diet weight loss product you must always eat right and exercise.
The taste of the Slim Me Tea— well doesn’t really have one. You know it tastes different, but it’s not a huge difference than just drinking colored water. They do smell great! And let me just get it out there– I don’t know how anyone can say that the Slim Me Tea will actually help with digestion and elimination and help cleanse your liver. No one does this testing regularly to know for sure. Zhena’s may claim that, so it may– or may not be factual.
The ingredients in each are:
– Fair trade green tea leaves
– Senna leaves
– Ketone
– African Mango seed extract
– Dandelion leaves
– Garcinia cambogia extract
– Blended herbs which they list on the bottles.
Senna leaves are great! But, be cautious. Although senna increases gastric fluid secretion and bowel motility, producing laxative action, chronic use of it can cause organ failure. Which is why I’m confused as to why Zhena’s is promoting that their consumers drink the Slim Me Tea 3 times a day. I recommend about using this product about twice a week. I don’t have regular bowel movements so this helps me with my issue personally. You may be different. Either way do NOT take this drink daily or numerous times on a daily basis.
It’s always nice to read reviews on products, but everyone has their own opinions and everyone’s results are different. Therefore, if you’re willing to try it I’m here to supply it! One lucky reader is going to be given the opportunity to try Zhena’s Slim Me Tea (same flavors as I got) AND a 30-day FREE membership to 24-Hour Fitness.

Jan 26, 2014 at 8:39 pmI gained about 40 lbs after trying birth control for a few months. I haven’t been able to get my weight back to where it was. I’d love to try the tea for the slimming reason, but also because I love to drink tea.

Jan 26, 2014 at 11:27 pmI took me a little over a year to get back to where I was after the baby. Once I hit the gym that was the beginning and then the smoothie diet helped. The teas works well too with bloating and getting some off the toxins out. Good luck hon!!
